San Antonio

San Antonio is Ibiza's second-largest town and the most popular on the island among young international party-goers.

Called Portus Magnus in Roman times due to the remarkable width of its bay, San Antonio (Sant Antoni de Portmany) is an ancient village of farmers and fishermen that has become one of the main tourist resorts of Ibiza.

Nightlife

San Antonio has been referred to as the "clubbing capital of the universe", and young holiday-makers from all around the world visit during the summer looking to party at its iconic clubs that host events with the world's most famous DJs.

A lot of the nightlife is concentrated on Ibiza's iconic Sunset Strip, a promenade that stretches from the port area down to the beach of Cala d'es Moro and is bustling with restaurants, bars and clubs.

This strip is home to the popular Café del Mar, one of Ibiza's famous sunset cafés where young tourists go to enjoy chill-out music, drinks and food. Further along the strip is Café Mambo, where party-goers can enjoy a more lively atmosphere in a place where some of the best DJs on the planet play and a popular place for clubbers to enjoy pre-parties

But you don't have to go to the strip to enjoy one of San Antonio's magical sunsets! Great places to admire this wonder of nature are also Las Salinas beach, San Antonio Bay and Cala Benirrás. There are also lots of sunset cruises.

Daytime Activities

If you're looking to party during the day, you can enjoy one of the many boat parties that depart from the area. You can even enjoy a pool party at the Ibiza Rocks Hotel or the O Beach Ibiza beach club.

The main beach in San Antonio is S’Arenal de San Antonio, a pleasant beach with shallow waters and lots of facilities where you can enjoy a comfortable day sunbathing on the Balearic coast. There are also lots of fun water sports you can get involved in, such as banana boats and flying fish!
